Now that Christmas and New Year Celebrations are over, it’s time to put that New Year’s resolution into practice – Change to a plant-based diet.
Whatever your reasons - to lose weight, to prevent, halt or reverse disease, to be kinder to animals and the environment,or to just live longer – to get maximum benefit it must be a lifestyle change not just a temporary diet.
Lots of thoughts will be going through your mind....
“I don’t know where to start”
“I’m going to miss meat”
“I’ll never be able to eat out again!”
To make a significant change that affects every day of your life and everything you put in your mouth is a BIG THING.
When transitioning to a plant-based diet, one thing that people find particularly overwhelming is eating out. And their feelings are often justified as at restaurants….
- there is often meat or fished based ingredients hiding in dishes or sauces,
- there only one thing on the menu that doesn’t include meat
- non meat dishes are often under whelming and they are not given much thought by the chef.
But we at Veginity want you to know that it is possible to eat beautifully prepared plant-based cuisine and we invite you to come and try a meal at Veginity and you will see that there is no need to deprive yourself on a plant-based diet.
